I have been going crazy trying to setup a kitchen dashboard using a pi0, and while I keep making some progress, I end up always taking one step back. So far I was able to get MagicMirror to run, and open using firefox since chromium does not work on the pi0 (thanks to the helpful guide that sdetwell made!). I have been able to update the config and troubleshoot basic issues with modules like google calendar and Unsplash. However the latest issue I am having is that CalendarExt3 does not show up on my dashboard, regardless of what calendar I am using to populate it.

After some digging (like 4 hours worth going through logs and seeing nothing before finally figuring out how to see the browser console and finding the to sorted issue), I was FINALLY able to identify that the issue is due to the firefox version being too old, though it appears to be the latest one I can easily pull (I need 120+, I have 102).

Any recommendations on what the next steps for resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I have been diving into the deep end trying to resolve this, and while I have learned a lot, I am still very green.

Sorry, That module uses some state-of-the-art ECMA standard scripts, and Pi0 is too old. I cannot promise Pi0 could handle the module.

Thanks for the insight. I will try to setup Midori, though I am already running into issues getting snap to work on the raspberry pi0 as well :). My 5 minutes of troubleshooting seems to point to the issue also being related to the processor not working with the version of snap I have. Looks like another rabbit hole to start going down.

If I cant get it to work, I may try to upgrade my raspberry pi to something more powerful so I dont have to deal with all of these workarounds. I was hoping this dashboard could be cheaper than some of these off the shelf items with monthly subscriptions, but to get what we want, we may need to spend more upfront.

I have decided to move on from using the Pi Zero W and onto using a more powerful (and supported Raspberry Pi).
