Can’t access the magic mirror from an iPad/iphone
-
Have magic mirror setup on a Pi 4(b?) and it is running in server mode, my iPad and iPhone time out when trying to connect. I’ve tried my pi’s ip address, 0.0.0.0, local host. My windows pc can access it (it is connected to the pi over Ethernet to share WiFi since the pi’s signal is iffy sometimes)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! -
@Dartfrog09 are they on the same wifi? not guest network.
also ipWhitelist:[] -
@Dartfrog09 older ipads running older safari might not support the latest javascript. iphone should be ok
-
Sorry for the late reply, I already had the ip whitelist thing and they are all on the same WiFi. Both my older iPad and iPhone SE 3rd gen time out
Thanks

@Dartfrog09 you should look at the browser version for js supported level
-
I checked everything and it’s all up to date, I updated Google and Google chrome, downloaded opera to test and nothing worked, now my pc can’t even open it
-
@Dartfrog09 did u check the versions of the browsers?
-
I checked safari, Google has led me to believe that my current iOS version is the same for safari, both iOS and iPhone are above 16.4, chrome is v. 134.0.6998.33, Google is 358.1.731895952, and opera is 5.4.2(9) and opera gx (on iOS) is 2.6.3

@Dartfrog09 I tried this morning from my old ipad Air, chrome version 95.
I get a black screen
I can access my MMM-Config screens which do NOT use any of the new JS Idoms like the baseso I know MagicMirror is running and can be accessed given the right browser support
works on my iPhone 15
