              What I don’t understand is that this morning it worked fine, I turned it back on at the beginning of the afternoon, no more calendar or newfeed.

                    @pat59 somefile.txt is just the name of a file that will hold the contents of some command.

                    For example, —lines=100 means 100 lines of content are going to be produced. But the terminal window app can only scroll back about 50 lines.

                    The others are lost

                    If you send the output to a file, then you can move around, top of file to bottom of file, repeatedly too. Without having to run the command again
