    Hi, I’ve tried to install MM on my Slackware Server, and after clone and npm install & npm start but socket.io is missing and script is looking for it outside of project directoryscreen shot

      had the same error…

      1. download sails.io.js
      $ cd /var/www/html/MagicMirror/js
      $ sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/balderdashy/sails.io.js/master/dist/sails.io.js
      
      1. edit index.html
      $ cd /var/www/html/MagicMirror
      $ sudo nano index.html
      

      Change line 30 from:
      <script type="text/javascript" src="/socket.io/socket.io.js"></script>
      to:
      <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/socket.js"></script>

      Add this line right before line 30:
      <script type="text/javascript" src="js/sails.io.js"</script>

      Worked for me, cheers!

        Yes, thank You very much :) it is working…

        But calendar module and rss feed module is loading and loading, config file is ok because “server only” is fine, any ideas ?
