Home made 60" touch Magic Mirror

My i ask you about the front? I ordered 60’’ mirror view 70/25 , i have 49’’ smart tv at home. But my biggest concern is the front. IR screen needs to go on the top of the mirror? Its only a frame? a foil? or a glass put inside IR frame place on the top of the mirror?
I am really confused.

If with the glass, what type and thickness of the glass can go there?

@scatha20 My IR frame did not come with glass. It just came with a tube and I laid it on top the mirror

@cyberphox not yet. I found them really expensive. Looking for alternatives. did you buy your software?
So far I ordered two way mirror and IR frame. And I drawn the construction scheme for photobooth.
I will be buying camera soon and dnp printer.

@scatha20 Yes I am using Darkroom Booth. It’s very nice and pretty easy to use. Easy to add animations and templates

@cyberphox i couldn’t find any promo video for this product, but when i went to their website price is looking good :) may i as you what camera are you using? and what type of printer?
And one more thing, i was reading online some comments, does IR frame has to be adjusted? or it will work with ant type of smart tv?

Last question…I think. The actual frame outside, did you make it yourself or you bought it?

What about the ir frame size ? The same as the monitor ? If yes how do you put the camera through the glass ?

Or have you take a bigger size ?

@bimbim2401 no the IR frame is the same size as the mirror…The tv is smaller so the camera goes behind the glass

Thanks so If the ir frame is equal to the mirror size for example 60” and the tv is 40” i imagine that you need to calibrate the ir frame or something like this ?

@Scatha20 Hi… New member here… How did you mount your light at the top of the box? I have a Neewer light setup and want to mount it on top of the box but i’ll need to put some sort of a stem on the box.
