@lavolp3 you can also include your IP subnet into the whitelist.
I think there is even a description and some examples in the config itself. -
@lavolp3 thanks for the suggestions. I changed my ipWhitelist to ipWhitelist: [], and now i am able to view my MM on my phone. I already had the address set to “0.0.0.0” like you suggested.
It still looks like i am getting the same Client-ID error (Client id unauthorized - please visit /MMM-Strava/auth/) on my MM. Anyone have any suggestions on how to correct that? What should the Authorization Callback domain be on the stava website? I currently have my it as my raspberrypi-IP-address:8080

@jawinemiller said in MMM-Strava:
raspberrypi-IP-address:8080
I think it’s in the description. Open
raspberrypi-IP-address:8080/MMM-Strava/auth/
on another device and try authenticating your device.
You need to authenticate the device to get access to the API. -
@lavolp3 Thanks, i was finally able to get it to authorize!

Hi guys!
i have some trouble with activate Strava on MagicMirror.
after i go to auth link from MagicMirror and i authorise device, reboot MagicMirror i get again the link to authorise device, below is my configuration{ module: 'MMM-Strava', header: 'Strava', position: 'top_right', config: { client_id: '55xxx', client_secret: '119e5dxxxxxxx', activities: ['run', 'ride'] }

@gab0ru don’t know… please use code block for any config items…
paste the text, select the text, push the button above the editor, </>

When using table or chart the activities config seems to be ignored, and just shows ride, run and swim. However, if I used the radial option, then it respects the config and just shows the rides. Is there another setting I’m missing to just shows rides in chart view?
-
@mike2323 the
activities
option should work for the table and chart modes. Could you check you are using the latest version and post your config for the module (removing or masking the client id and secret)?Here’s a working example
{ module: "MMM-Strava", position: "top_right", header: "Strava", config: { client_id: "000000", client_secret: "z793xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx498d2", mode: "chart", activities: ["ride"], period: "ytd" } }
If you want two activities, you can enter them as follows:
activities: ["ride", "run"]

@ianperrin Have been trying to set up multiple instances of the module but which ever user is authenticated last will be the one whos stats are shown in all (both) the instances. Tried autheniticating, resstarting container and authenticating other module but with no sucess. Do you know where I’m going wrong or could you aid me in some direction?
ps. both modules use the same client_id and client_secret, but that shuld not matter right?
GREAT module by the way !
