      I have a read only CIFS share with some media mounted at ~/MagicMirror/media and I’m trying to access those files in different modules. Accessing the files and listing the directory works perfect in the terminal, but the directory is not accessible from a browser. I suspect it could be a permission issue. Any ideas on how to resolve?

      the line I’m using from /etc/fstab is copied below:
      //{IP_ADDRESS}/Share/PersonalMedia /home/pi/MagicMirror/media cifs ro,guest,uid=pi,gid=pi,noperm,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,x-systemd.automount 0 0

        after moving the mount to the modules directory, this worked.
