      Hi.
Has anyone tried use IRDA connected to Raspberry for control TV - turn on, turn off?
I dont want to use the relay on the power cable, I heard that this is not the best for Tv. I dont know where connect relay inside TV, there is no normal standby button.

As I know HDMI-CEC feature should be needed but RPI hasn’t. I might be wrong.

CEC works on RPI only LG do not support Power Off (Standby) in their CEC implementation. Power On working fine.
