@RedNax Thanks for the awesome module. I do have one question however…
Is there a way to change the current Beaufort wind speed to mph?

US Weather Alerts
I think a module for US weather alerts (watches & warnings) could be very helpful. Especially when your MM is in a highly traveled area as mine is.
In my head, I can imagine a watch or warning come up in the middle or bottom center part of the screen with a weather icon (see attached) and the description / expiration of the watch/warning.
Example: “TORNADO WARNING for xx County until 10pm”
The National Weather Service already provides data feeds for watches, warnings, and advisories based on state and county. These are based on RSS/ATOM/XML or CAP feeds. Within each alert is a header with specific information pertaining to that alert.
Example: " .NEW. " shows up when an alert is new followed by an event designator “TOR”, “SVR”, “FFW”. The expiration time is also included (maybe clear the alert from MM at expiration time)Just an idea. Thought it’d be cool since MM’s are becoming more popular and are being placed in public and highly trafficked areas.

MM Crashing
Ever since running an update on my Pi 3 Model B and MagicMirror, it has started crashing randomly after running fine for a while. Generally it’ll run okay for a day or so, however often I’ll find that it’s crashed out with a JS Stacktrace error. I’ve attached a screenshot of the error I was receiving. Since the error is mentioning an allocation failure and possibly space constraints, I have checked the SD card and found more than enough space (10+ GB) free. If anyone has any ideas, I’m more than open to hear them.

@strawberry-3.141 I’ve checked that also. Everything appears to be in order.

Has anyone ran into an issue with the wind speeds? The wind speeds shown in the forecast do not match that of the forecast on the Wunderground site. The wind speed displayed is always higher than the real forecast found on the main site. It has been as much as 20mph over the forecasted speed.
Ex: The forecast tomorrow calls for wind of 20mph on the module while the Wunderground site has 13mph.
I am using the rounded numbers to round off the temperature (have had no issues there).
It’s not a huge deal, however just one of those annoying little things. -

Something similar to this, however for the US.

RE: US Weather Alerts
I know my way around these alerts and the different parameters they include. I simply do not have the coding experience to make I happen.
If someone wants to play around with this idea, by all means contact me and I can explain some more of the parameters and information included in an alert. -

Absolutely the best weather module out there. Hands down.
As someone who went to school for meteorology, weather runs deep in my veins. I know that we are already able to grab alerts from Wundergound, but is there a way to take those alerts further? I’m not sure if this would be an entirely new module, or just an additional feature.
The National Weather Service already sends out XML/RSS feeds all the way down to the county level. If there was a way to “watch” that feed and check for specific alerts, then make that show up on the mirror in red lettering (or something eye-catching) with an icon to go with it (thunderstorm, tornado, etc). Perhaps even scroll in a crawl like on TV news stations. Those XML files also contains specific parts. Title (Tornado Warning), description (Tornado Warning for Jefferson County until 9:45pm), and also narrative and preparedness statement. Finally, each XML file includes an expiration time.
I know that would take a lot of work, but it’s just something cool that could lead to more and more implementation over the long run. National Weather Service XML - Jefferson Co., KY -
