Hello everyone,

after using the search function and reading through different posts, I was not able to find any useful information.

I happen to have an old Dell XPS 9343 with a QHD display (3200x1800), which I would like to reuse. I was able to disassemble the notebook just fine, but have hit a snag:

The LCD is glues to the body, of the lid.

So I do wonder if I really have to remove it, given that Dell seems to be using a 40 pin eDP connector. Is there a way to use that one, instead of having to open up everything?
The screen supports touch, but I don’t really care nor need it. So just getting the display running would be great.

Also it, seems that the driver boards will usually just support FHD resolutions and do not go beyond that resolution?

Any pointers as to what I could to to be able to recycle that display would be much appreciated.
