Being a novice at MM and js, I’m slowly building my knowledge while trying to figure this out!

I’ve discovered the Developers Window but am not yet clear on what all it does!

I have found this, though, and it seems to indicate that the return from https://www.spanishdict.com/wordoftheday is blank / null.

My current hypothesis is that the website has changed something but I am pretty much going by trial and error as I’m way out of my depth so if anyone can throw any light I’d be very grateful!

Thank you @sdetweil - I’m a newcomer to MM and css so will need to do some work to get familiar with it - but at least now have an idea where to start!

MMM-eswordoftheday has been working fine for a few weeks but suddenly it does not show any Spanish words. When MM starts up it says ‘Spanish Word of the Day’ and ‘Loading’ and then it seems to time out and replace ‘Loading’ with the 1. and 2. where the examples were - but no Spanish words, English translations or examples.

The Pi can access https://www.spanishdict.com/wordoftheday from the Chromium browser so it is not a network access issue, I don’t think.

I’ve removed and re-installed MMM-eswordoftheday but that didn’t help.

Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting this, please?

I would like to assign a different colour (yellow) to calendar entries due today? Is this possible?

I’m using the default calendar to display my Google calendar which contains entries that span 90 days and these are in the default white - when one or more events is due today I would like to colourise them to draw attention to them. I am pretty sure the custom.css file is the key to this but have no idea how to go about it so I would appreciate any help to achieve this.
