Hi there,

is it possible to transfer old modules for the Magic Mirror Version 1 to the new Magic Mirror 2?
I have found some cool modules for MM1 but I don´t kown how to install them to the MM2. As I know MM1 has an Apache Server and MM2 uses Electron.

Can anybody help me or as some ideas how to do that?

The Problem was Thatcher the Module folder had a wrong Name, MMM-trainconnetions.
I renamed it to trainconnections and it works.

The problem was that the module folder had the name “MMM-TrainConnections” but in the config was “module: ‘trainconnections’”.
I renamed the module folder to 'trainconnections.
That worked.

Have I to clone TrainConnections in MagicMirror/Modules or only in MagicMirror?

I only get a black screen on my MagicMirror Version2.

Hi Guys,

I need to create a google API. Unfortunatly I don´t know how. I need it for the LocalTransport-Module. When I follow the link of the module I get to the google API side. There I requested a key, create a new project and then what?
What for a key is needed? Browser, Server or anything else?
Has the key to be activated?

Hello guys,
thank you for your help. I thought I have always to run npm install.

Now I´m a little bit smarter. Only run npm install when the author it´s write.
