MMM-TrainConnections
-
So if I wanted to try this with say trains here in the US, where would I even start looking to obtain that information? I still such a noob but like how would I even Google what to look for?
-
I think this one is Europe only - taker a look at localtransport module. This uses the Google APIs and works with many global transit systems.
-
So I cloned the GoogleMaps one. Two questions.
The directory is off the root of the Module Directory, not in the default directory. Is that correct?
I’m about to run the NPM Install command. That’s not going to write over anything I have right? That just “adds” to what I already have, correct?
-
@clebo99 correct
-
Have I to clone TrainConnections in MagicMirror/Modules or only in MagicMirror?
I only get a black screen on my MagicMirror Version2.
-
You will need to clon it in to
~/MagicMirror/modules
and add the config to yourconfig/config.js
fileBangee

The Problem was Thatcher the Module folder had a wrong Name, MMM-trainconnetions.
I renamed it to trainconnections and it works. -
i can’t use the command ‘sudo command install’ cause it isn’t a right command
(i install it in the modules order)
but then i can change the api.php (have to add 2 api’s right)
then i have to change my config (add the modul)but how i can get german api’s ?
i wrote a email on DBOpenData@deutschebahn.com to give me the api’sbut where should i add then the api’s in api.php ?
-
okay i can’t edit my post…
how can i change the connection.php script so that i see when my train come to late ?
