      Hello all

      My wife has a problem with the default compliments, specifically the word Sexy, so I’ve been modifying the default compliments.js located in /MagicMirror/modules/default/compliments however each time there is an update I have to do this again,

      How can I use the custom.css to overcome having to change compliments.js?

        @mayfield You can use your own custom file. See the MM Page for info.

          @mayfield also, never change the source code mm ships.

          all configuration can be done in the config.js

          {
             module:'compliments',
              position:
              config:{
                    compliments:{
                             morning :{
                             },
                             afternoon:{
                             }
                            ... etc
                     }
               }
          }

              @mayfield config.js is YOURs, we don’t touch that file. that’s the whole point.

              as mentioned you can put the compliments text config itself in a file as well and use the remote file config option
