Displaying Video by pressing button

Hello Builders,
Long time ago I installed my first Magic Mirror and it was working wonderful after days and days of configuration.
Now I have installed the newest Version v.2.23.0.
Now I am stuck with a request as it looks like that both modules are not supported anymore.
I was looking for a module that would allow me to play a specific video by pressing a GPIO button.
Like the modules I used on my old Magic Mirror. MMM-Button and MMM-Podcast2.Is someone already working on something like this?

Hallo,
i have Installed Buttons, Navigate, Podcast2, MplayerRadio, Dreambox etc.
The “Tagesschau 100sec.” works, watching TV from the reciever also works. All at the touch of a button. :-)
I have also installed OMX player and it works great.Robi
Thanks to all the help in between from sdetweil everything is running ;-)

@DIYfirsttime mmm-buttons still works, just the update process is broken
use my forkhttps://github.com/sdetweil/MMM-Buttons
anything that uses gpio needs to have the binary match the electron version, and so needs a rebuild as part of the install.
his old way doesn’t work anymore.

@sdetweil Thank you for explaining to me how to get MMM-Buttons working.
To keep this Post still as an request I would like to know if there is a “fix” for MMM-Podcast2 or is someone working or wants to work on a module like this.
That I can use my physical button to play and stop a Video. -
@DIYfirsttime omxplayer, used by podcast module, no longer works on later raspios versions. not a MagicMirror problem.
someone would have to find another solution and fix module, if possible.
