Default calendar is just loading! (Newbie)
-
I`ve tried to personalize the default calendar module, but since I changed the code it is just loading and showing the header. I´ve already re-programmed the code of the standard calendar, but that changes absolutly nothing. I´ve also tried it with the MMM-MyCalendar Module but even that doesn´t help.
I have quadruple checked the code in the config file of both modules but couldn´t find an error. Also in the developers menu there isn´t an error shown. Does someone can help me? :upside-down_face: If you need more information just ask! -
I tried to delete and reinstall the whole programm. But now it won´t even start anymore and the last message in the terminal is “MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information”

@Max-0 the calendar ics parser runs in the node_helper… its messages are output in the npm start window… or if using pm2 to autostart ,
pm2 logs --lines=100you can also add “DEBUG” to the
logLevel: ["INFO", "LOG", "WARN", "ERROR"], // Add "DEBUG" for even more logging
in config.js
because there is so much output, I would do
pm2 stop all cd ~/MagicMirror npm start >somefile.txt 2>&1
then after MM starts and no calendar appears… wait 15 secconds
ctrl-m on the MM window to minimize and press ctrl-c to stop mm.the the contents of somefile.txt will give me the info to debug
send to this same userid at gmail
don’t post here or in mm issue as there is private data shown in the logs -

Is that correct? yes.
-
@Max-0 but you did not set the debug in config.js first
-
@sdetweil If you mean to add “DEBUG” in the config list, i did that but i can do it again and send you another mail
