I just upgraded to 2.27. I have backed up my config, modules, css now my mirror isn’t running.

    I did the following

git pull && npm run install-mm

Upon completion of the install everything checked out and looked good

    changed 2 packages in 2m
    MagicMirror² installation finished successfully!

I then went and restarted my magic mirror using my npm restart and it shows the following but its not running?
    [PM2] mm ✓

      @nobbie35 do

      pm2 stop all
      cd~/MagicMirror
      npm start

      what happens

in your pm2 output above the number after fork
is the number of times the app has been. restarted since the last boot

      2165 is a lot…

@sdetweil I didn’t realize that you have to reinstall all of the modules after an install I’ve been running MM for over a year and have upgraded before like this and never had to npm install each of the modules again… I’ll go back and reinstall all of them just incase and report back

@nobbie35 yes, but what happens is always subject to change…

so looking at the messages tells you a module had trouble finding a library

which should lead you back to npm install for that module

@nobbie35 where did you do the npm install, what folder were you in?

                      I see the problem

the module doesn’t have a package.json file, so the loaded module is considered a security risk and is removed

                      do
                      npm init -y
                      then
                      npm install googleapis
