Monitors and Burn In?
-
Are there any monitors that are not prone to burn in? In this article, I came across this:
“We haven’t experienced any signs of burn-in on the two LCD TVs (IPS and VA type panels).”

Thoughts, and recommendations? -
@droidus There’s a couple of modules that will move other modules’ positions slightly to try and prevent burn-in.

Try MMM-MagicMover

It’s easy to forget that while OLED is the biggest concern for burn-in, older LCDs can still suffer from image persistence if things stay static for too long. Moving the modules around slightly or using a screen saver script is such a practical way to extend the life of the hardware.
