Module Switcher?

Hey,
Was wondering if there is a module that can switch one module to another.
example, you click a button (or possible voice command) and it switches the clock module to the weather module?
I know that showing and hiding div’s in css is simple but the modules have to load in the same position, literally replacing one another.
