      Hi all!

      First try with MagicMirror this…

      Having had some issues running MagicMirror on a Rpi3 (raspbian-lite) I decided to to try docker. After setting it up and getting it running I run into the usual issue of editing the ipWhitelist. Whenever I edit this file and restarts the container, MagicMirror replaces my config.json with a new config.json.sample. It is also not reachable on the network anymore. I would really appreciate if someone could help me along here! :-)

      Best
      Magnus

        try also delete the “on” at the end of the file name :)
        just:

        config.js

        And what is your exact config looks like? Maybe try this first:

        var config = {
                address: "0.0.0.0", // Address to listen on, can be:
                                      // - "localhost", "127.0.0.1", "::1" to listen on lo$
                                      // - another specific IPv4/6 to listen on a specific$
                                      // - "", "0.0.0.0", "::" to listen on any interface
                                      // Default, when address config is left out, is "loc$
                port: 8080,
                ipWhitelist: [], // Set [] to allow all IP addresses
                                                                       // or add a specifi$
                                                                       // ["127.0.0.1", ":$
                                                                       // or IPv4 range of$
                                                                       // ["127.0.0.1", ":$

          Thank you so much!!

          The filename was a typo in my post, but changing the listen address solved my issues!

          Now on to figuring out how to actually use MM! :-)
