Does MagicMirror version 1 work?

Hello,
I am attempting to create my own magic mirror interface, but am having trouble fully understanding the code in MagicMirror2. I would like to use the simpler version 1as a guide as it is easier to understand but would like to know if it still works. Also, how do you run the code for version 1?

@sumrag Hey there! I can’t answer your question, but I can tell you that MM2 is pretty straight forward if you just do a manual install as the guide shows on GitHub :-) Give it a go!
