I tried resetting my ical adress and re entering a new one. Again. Problem persists. Does anyone have any more suggestions please ? Thanks. Michael

@sdetweil could the problem be related to my node.js. I only ask as when I was trying to configure the google photos module there was a message that came up stating I needed to update my node.js 10.2 to a later version.
Could this old version be preventing my calender from working?
Thanks , Michael -
@mercuryskies if u put the cursor in the address/url field and hit ctrl-a (select all), ctrl-c (copy), then u will get the full url.
Those operations are the same as on Windows.

Hello,
I am also new here and wanted to connect my calendar to my Google calendar as well.I somehow already failed to get the *.ics file. If I only copy the link out of Google, which is there for pasting, the list with the appointments unfortunately remains empty.
I then tried to create a *.ics file from this public link in various ways and as described in various videos, but unfortunately all to no avail.
Has Google changed anything recently?
Unfortunately, the thread here comes to an abrupt end. How did it come to a solution?

@Seregeth open calendar.google.com
use your mouse to hover over your name in the calendars list in the lower left navigation panel
when over your calendar, 3 dots will appear to the right, click on the 3 dots, and click on ‘Settings and sharing’the calendar settings page will be displayed,
scroll down to the “Integrate calendar” section
in the lower part in the ics section select the secret url
Secret address in iCal format.‘Use this address to access this calendar from other applications without making it public.’
that url is the one u specify in the MM calendar config…

@sdetweil Perfect, thank you very much! That really helped.
But to make my luck perfect, I also need the dates from my “family” folder in Google, where we put all our dates.
I can’t find the access to a *.ics file in this one, not even a secret link or anything like that.Is it possible to integrate this?
