MMM-BackgroundSlideshow just shows black screen
-
To start, I just copy/pasted the code directly from the page. I have checked and I have the sample images in the folder. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

did u do the npm install in the module folder? it has required dependencies…
usually black screen means something missing
-
I thought I had, but I did it again. Does the message mean something is ‘wrong’?
-
@CliffordW no. That’s ok.
If you do, npm start dev
Select the console tab and scroll up to see any errorsDo u see anything in red?
-
@sdetweil Considering how early on I am, I’m just going to wipe it clean and start again. Thanks for your help, I’ll be back to let you know either way.
-
@sdetweil As I suspected. I rebuilt it, and it’s working now. Obviously some kind of newbie error. Thanks again!

@CliffordW glad u got it working!!
