      aplay -l  ( for list )
      

      to see the output devices

      do you have a file named

      ~/.asoundrc

        Thank you for your response. I do not see
        ~/ .asoundrc on that listing.

        I ran some sound tests found on the web and after running command:

        ./hello_audio.bin

        there was sound coming from the speaker, but there is still no sound from youtube videos.

                I did get sound after running sound test command
                Hello_audio. However, I am still unable to get audio from youtube and Alexa voice.

                  you can auto generate your .asoundrc config

                  try this:

                  in the rpi desktop:
                  -> right click to the icon volume -> select your prefered output device
                  -> ajust the level of this output

                  -> and you can do the same scheme for the input device :)
                  -> when all is done reboot you RPI

                    Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I am still not getting any sound from the sample Alexa app and Youtube.
