If you can get on a linux machine, this is quick and easy with dd.

First, plug in your current sdcard and find the path using

    sudo fdisk -l

It’ll be a path starting with /dev/, usually /dev/sdX or /dev/mmcblk#. Get the whole drive, not the partition (for a device at /dev/sda, the partitions will be /dev/sda1, sda2, etc).

Next, copy the current image to a file, using the path you just found:

    sudo dd=$YOUR_NEW_PATH of=$FileName.img bs=1M

Once it’s finished (it’ll take a while), remove your card and insert the new one, and reverse the process. Find the path to the new card (it may have changed from the original) and use the image file you just created as the input:

    sudo dd if=$FileName.img of=$YOUR_PATH bs=1M

    And you’re done.
