I am running in a similar problem of another post MMPM GUI, but mine it looks more related to the installation process.
When I run mmpm install --gui I run into this problem:

It is not clear to me why I have this Unicode error.

@sdetweil Thank you, sorry if it was not the right place. I saw another post where the person had an issue with MMPM. I will post there then.
