awesome alexa mmm voice control to understand

I manage to install awesome alexa. However I notice that that the commands are limited. Like when I ask to read flash news, Alexa ask me to choose the type of news like BBC, etc. However, nothing happens afterwards? I cannot pick the news channel. Any idea why.
Also apart from few simple commands, and wilki source, I don;t know what skills it can do. The complex skills like “open the magic door” does not seem to work properly… -
@andyckp the author has long since stopped working on this module. No idea what it was supposed to do vs today’s Alexa.
I do not remember seeing any multi step conversation handling

@andyckp skills are installed on the account, not on the mirror.
but any conversational skills would be a problem.

@sdetweil A shame if as I did not see muchvideo on anyoe expanding on using Alexa skills on the magic mirror as Alexa can do so much more
for multi step conversation… -
@andyckp yes, I did an implementation on another platform. dialog handling is a challenge
