How did you register?
I’m not sure if Spotify has changed the way to sign up for an api key. Maybe head over to Spotify Connect Web and see if they have any tips…
(I will check myself later, but don’t have time before Christmas)
-
I don´t know why but i`m using facebook login… for the spotify and the developer site… maybe this is an issue?
-
@schlachtkreuzer6 I’m using Facebook too. Since you mention it, I think I had to add an additional authentication method to the Facebook account in Spotify.

Okay here is what i did… i clicked on your module, and start following the installation guide. then i register @ spotifydeveloper and clicked on the link (https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/libspotify/application-keys/) … and then i saw that yellow warning stuff…
–The libspotify key generation and retrieval service has been deprecated, along with libspotify. You may apply to get a key using our App-key Request Form for private, individual usage. Bear in mind that you should do no new development using libspotify. –
there is another link to the google form. it´s redirecting to another page… https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp....blablalba...bla…
Then I filled the form and get an copy per email… and nothing more happens :(
Thanks for your help!

i already filled out the form again…@schlachtkreuzer6
How did you fill out the form? -
*the email i’m using for Spotify
*integration: MagicMirror
*Spotify tech: web connect
*no company
*my real name
*copy and paste the Same Email as above
*yes -
2 weeks after i filled in the form multiple times they send me some keys.
I said intergration > School project localhost.
In earlier request i used “MagicMirror” but they wouldn’t be awnsered imo.
maybe you can try it ? -
Hello everyone,
I know I (might) necro this thread - but anyway.
Now that there is an official API for Google Keep (https://developers.google.com/keep/api) it would be really nice if there were some activities to create a MMM module.
I don’t feel comfortable storing my password in a plain text file, as in this module: https://github.com/taxilof/MMM-GoogleKeep
Should I open a new thread?
best
