Hi all,

i’ve got a MagicMirror since beginning of the year and i also have a Homematic system in my house.
I updated the CCU2 Hardware to CCU3 and with this update my Homematic Module on my MagicMirror is not working anymore. The Update has been done by an data backup of my old CCU2. The Mirror was still working until the update to CCU3.
I also reinstalled the xml-api addon to my CCU3 because it was still missing after the installation of the backup on CCU3 and edited the Hostname of my ccu. I already tried the same Hostname like my old CCU2, but it’s still not working.
I also checked the xml ise_id’s of the devices i would like to display on my mirror.
Maybe important to know:
I also changed my IP-Adress for my CCU vom xxx.xxx.0.237 to xxx.xxx.0.2
But in the config of the module it’s only necessary to enter the hostname. (“ccu3” in my case). It’s possible to ping the ccu by the hostname from my RPi in the mirror.

Any Idea i could check or what i have to do that’s working again?

XML-API-Version is 1.21.

Have you tried to enter the new IP-address in the config?

ccuHost: "xxx.xxx.0.2",

Depending on your network and router the name resolution might not be always reliable. As you gave the CCU a fixed IP, you can also use that fixed IP in the config.

Hi Thanks for your answer,

the router is configured, that he always gives the CCU the same IP-Adress.
But i will try to set the router starting the DHCP from xxx.xxx.0.3 and give the CCU a static IP Adress (xxx.xxx.0.2) in its Network Settings.

But why it was still working all the time with the CCU2? Is the CCU2 a little bit another in the Networksettings?

In the Firewall settings of the CCU the XML API has also full control allowed.

just tried this other network config.
startet dhcp-server in my router beginning of xxx.xxx.0.3 and set the ip of my ccu to static and on xxx.xxx.0.2 and the gateway the ip adress of my router.
Hostname in my Mirror is entered the IP-Adress of my CCU3…

Anymore ideas what i could try?
