Some questions about a planned build - help and advice from experienced builders much appreciated

Hello
I am using Magic Mirror to do a Magic Display build – no mirror. My plan is to add magnets to the frame so that I can place it on the side of a refrigerator. I have a few questions and seek advice from experienced builders.- Will placing magnets on the back of the frame mess with the electronics/WiFi of the Raspberry Pi? If yes, can I do anything to address that issue?
- How safe is the Raspberry Pi UPS shield that uses Li-Ion batteries? Example : https://www.crazypi.com/raspberry-pi-ups I have read that LiPo and Li-Ion batteries are not very safe to use. Numerous articles state “unsupervised” charging of LiPo batteries is dangerous and they can catch fire. How true is this? What precautions should I take?
- Do people power the Pi and display with two different power cables? Or is there a solution that can provide power to both?
Note: I live in a place where power outages are common. The back up power for the house takes 20 secs to kick in. So, I need some way to power the device during this time. I plan to run only the Pi with UPS, it is ok if the display goes out and comes back.
Build components: PIR sensor, Raspberry Pi 3b+ (I have one from a previous project), camera , USB mic, USB speaker
I am thinking about adding Google Assistant using https://github.com/shivasiddharth/GassistPi I am not sure if I will stick with that or later switch to an on-device solution.

@hrishim Update - The WaveShare Raspberry Pi UPS hat powers the Raspberry Pi via GPIO pins. It also has a connector so other pins can be used.
The UPS has a USB power out 5v. I am using that to power a 7in display (Raspberry Pi display). So this works out - one wall socket connection only needed.
Just make sure the usb to micro-usb cable is a power cable.
