      @sdetweil ok interesting any idea why it kills it if you do that as it’s never before very strange thanks I’ll take a look at it

              Same issue here.
              Black screen after updating to v2.8. Any suggestions?

                @panos after you did the git clone, you have to run

                npm install
                

                in the MagicMirror folder
                and then

                npm install
                

                in each module folder that has a package.json file…
