What is proper procedure to uninstall MM for a fresh install?

I’ve kinda neglected my MM of late, and had the updates notification turned off…

I now want to update my Raspbian OS and then start afresh with the updated MM version, all of which has been running for 3 years now.

Can someone tell me the proper procedure to do this, or just point me in the right direction. I do not want anything left behind that could mess up the fresh install of MM… not wanting to simply update from old, I just want a fresh new start.

Start install again

Erase old MagicMirror folder when done

Thanks. I ended up simply flashing the sd card for Stretch, and starting all over again, rather than build on what was already there… but good to know just to rename the MM folder, to re-do a fresh install.
