unfortunately not all of you managed to pay…
I did it again and have now made advance payments again because I believe in the good in people and the community. these are entries that have been on the list for a very, very long time. It would be disappointing for those concerned if the respective entries had to wait for the next bulk order and I don’t want to annoy anyone. It is a total of two mirrors that have not yet been paid for. I hope I made the right decision…Now the good News: I commissioned the production of the mirrors this morning :) the production time is currently 4-5 weeks. In the meantime I am already building all the shipping boxes so that the mirrors can be sent out to you all within 2-3 days of arriving at my place :)
I really hope they pay on time, you don’t deserve to risk your money or have it in a limbo until someone else wants a mirror of those dimensions. If I were you, and continue doing this awesome work in the future, I would do like others said before: at least ask for a working email and not rely on the forum notifications, which are enabled by default, but people can just unsubscribe anytime, and set strict timelines since the very beginning, so no one can be annoyed if they don’t read their incoming email and the time deadline has passed. I can understand you need to wait until 10 people have paid, but being like now 17 people, and just 2 who haven’t paid, I would simply discard them for the current batch if those before mentioned conditions were met.
Hurrah! so we can expect around second week of June to the mirrors to be shipped! Glad to hear about progress finally! And all of this in the middle of the greatest pandemia in the last 100 years. You’re awesome!! ;)

How are we looking at the mirror production, will they be done next week or maybe the week after that? If I’m not mistaken, that will be 4-5 weeks, any delays?
Have you had time to make/buy the shipping materials? Any more covid lock downs? 😋

@internetpolice dude, I’ve read all threads, all the posts and all the edits. If you read my post again I am referring to the post Chris made 22 days ago, where he says that he has commissioned the mirrors and will build the materials.
I was wondering how it’s going, we’re getting closer to shipping.

Okay, since there is probably interest I would like to give an update at this point, even if it is probably relatively uninformative for you :)
The delivery of the mirrors to me is announced for the week of 07 - 11.06.
Until then, I will definitely have the boxes ready, so that I only have to pack the mirrors safely and “nail them up” afterwards. However, the box construction is much more elaborate this time, because many of you wanted to exhaust the maximum size in all different dimensions and therefore I have to build a lot of special boxes. I cannot (as usual) fall back on 3-4 standard dimensions in order to build at least a few identical boxes. Every frame part, every cut, etc. is individual ;) More different dimensions, cuts, etc. But I’m fully involved and everything is going according to plan :)And no, unfortunately the missing payments were never received and I will probably be sitting on two mirrors again…

I’m very pissed for you, dude. I hope you can sell them out promptly. And again, I wouldn’t mind if in the future I need to acquire another mirror from you, you ask me for my personal email/telegram/phone or/and ask for a warrant (like the 10% of the cost) before closing the list. Surely people will be more involved when they already spend some money.

Also you can offer these already manufactured in the next round. I dont know how about guys, but I was not very strict about the dimensions of my mirror.
As @malevolent suggested a 10% warrant would be fair. -
UPDATE:
The mirrors will arrive today :)
I took today off to pack all the mirrors immediately and neatly into the already prefabricated wooden boxes and in the optimum case to bring them to the post office this afternoon or tomorrow morning :)Maybe one or the other has then the mirror before the weekend in his hands ;)
For your information: Depending on the shipping service I have to wrap an additional cardboard box around the wooden box. This has no function and is only prescribed to avoid wood splinters or the like. So don’t be surprised if the mirror arrives at your place and this cardboard wrapping is damaged due to the often not squeamish handling of the parcel carriers. The only important thing is that the wooden box itself has no massive visible damage :) If the box has such damage, I ask you to document this immediately upon receipt together with the parcel carrier, so that in the event of a claim can be made on the shipping insurance ;)
