Building an Image Module.

You could just use my module and put the path of your image in the “ownImagePath” value of the config. It’s explained in the README but if you need help, let me now.

Thanks, we tried that, we did get your image to display, but when we placed our image in the ownImagePath, we would just get three lines around the border of the image (left, right, bottom). Not sure…I will try attaching a picture as well to show you.

Could you please try to comment out line 61 of MMM-Globe.js and tell me if it works then?
-
To comment out, I did the ¨//¨ before that line, correct? If so, it now shows the outline of my image, but image doesn´t load. Is that maybe a GitHub issue for me - maybe I did that wrong? This part of my code in the config.js is:
{ module: 'MMM-Globe', position: 'center', config: { style: 'geoColor', imageSize: 300, ownImagePath:'https://github.com/ddzurko/Mirror/blob/master/Gear.png', updateInterval: 10*60*1000 } },

@shadymaple
ok now i got the problem.
can you please update the module. To do that just typegit pull
in the module directory (…/modules/MMM-Globe/). And in your config file you have to change your path tohttps://github.com/ddzurko/Mirror/blob/master/Gear.png?raw=true
.
Then it should work. -
