        If you do npm install in the MagicMirror folder. What other output do u get?

          Not sure if this helps either, I just deleted the MagicMirror folder before trying again.

                @sdetweil Why did your installation script not work? Tonight I may have time to delete the MagicMirror folder and use your script and show you what that says.

                  @nathan-joslin one suggestion for the cert error is to insure your system time is set correctly.

                  My script is the same as before, and fails if npm install fails

                  My script shows the same error, see line 5 of the log. Looks like the system date is in the past

                    Okay I’ll look into it tonight, just have some things to take care of first. I thought it may have been related to the time, but when I tried to change the time it wasn’t letting me. I even rebooted multiple times. But I’ll try to get back to you tonight

                      I was finally able to install it correctly using your script. For some reason using

                      raspi-config
                      

                      was not changing the date and time so I had to do it manually. Thank you so much for your help! I didn’t think the date and time being off by 9 days would have been an issue. I hope my friends and I will be able to accomplish want we want to do with this, but that may have to be a surprise for later. Thanks once again.
