      is there a way to place a background image in a table cell?

      css:
      background-image: url (‘nnn.png’);
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background position: top left;

      does not work.

      thanks in advance.

        @Perlchamp not via css, as it’s an attribute of the table, tr and td elements
