I’d highly recommend @sdetweil 's tips, as well as using the search function up in the upper right hand corner of the page. if you get to a point where a existing module don’t fit your needs, and you’re a creative/techy type, you can use jsfiddle.net to fiddle with javascript.
Lots of opportunities to do what you want, feel free to ask away - just don’t double up on questions - some people around here hate that. 🙄🙄
