      @Cr4z33 that is
      ~/MagicMirror/css/custom.css
      right?

      and u edited the MMM-NewsFeedTicker.css in the MMM-NewsFeedTicker module folder to add my changes, yes?

      Correct. 👍🏽

        @Cr4z33 the module is still requesting to load the css directly, right? with the right name

            getStyles: function() {
                return ["MMM-NewsFeedTicker.css"];
            },

        one more thing, my module is running all default values, cause i changed the name of the default newsfeed module to this one… but did NOT set any config values…

        		{
        			module: "MMM-NewsFeedTicker",
        			position: "bottom_bar",
        			config: {
        				feeds: [
        					{
        						title: "New York Times",
        						url: "http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/HomePage.xml"
        					}
        				],
        				showSourceTitle: true,
        				showPublishDate: true,
        				broadcastNewsFeeds: true,
        				broadcastNewsUpdates: true
        			}
        		},

          @sdetweil I tried using your defaults as well by getting the issue again.

          At this point could Debian 10 running (natively of course) on an Intel NUC be the problem?

            @Cr4z33 I’m doing this on Intel.

            rename your MMM-NewsFeedTicker folder out of the way and clone my fork

                @sdetweil I’ve installed your fork and… it’s going back and forth too! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:

                      @Cr4z33 no… idea… I would reinstall MM (use my script), just rename the old MM folder to something else,
                      then install my module version to verify

                      then u can start looking around… i installed from scratch like that to test before I sent to you, and others have confirmed it works for them too.

                                fortunately I don’t reinstall debian with each problem … otherwise I will not get out!

                                Usually the problem comes from the MM directory, I think
                                because with debian some permission missing

                                  @Bugsounet neither do I usually, but all solutions found around have failed.

                                  USB microphones do not get detected anymore from one day to another… 🤷🏽‍♂️

                                  Of course they work perfectly if ie. I connect them to my Windows 10 computer.
