      MMM-GABackground

This module is an extension for MMM-GoogleAssistant.

It allows to change the default Google Assistant background to your own or with animated gifs for each status of the assistant

      Needed: MMM-GoogleAssistant

The Background of the screen like that :

            • Before : (without GAB)

            GA.png

            • After: (With GAB)

                1. do you have the default GA background without GBA recipe ?

                  • blackscreen ?
-> you use MMM-pages, so configure it correctly !
                  • You have the GA default background perfect !
                2. If you have default background without GBA recipe :
-> place your GAB recipe file in queue any recipes

                3. tell me result

without recipe i have black background. with recipe in queue, still black background.

i didnt have GAB in MMM-pages and even with it in the fixed section of pages i still have black background

and so? what can i do? I have to configure MMM-pages or MMM-Carousel ?
                    explain me …

i didnt have GAB in MMM-pages

                    ??
GAB is not a module, it’s just a recipe for GA … so there is no config in config.js…
explain me why do you want fixed: [] GAB ?? only GA have a config…

if GAB is not a module then why do i need to config mmm-pages correctly?

i have GA set to “fullscreen_above” and the “with-BackgroundStatus” in the recipe queue.

i think GA is working like it should, however i dont see the google assistant & logo (like before pic below) i just see black where google logo is…

                        do you see a MMM-GaBackground.js and node_helper.js there !? NO ! so it’s not a MODULE … installer copy 2 recipes in MMM-GoogleAssistant Directory !
this 2 recipes redirect for playing gifs in each directory : sample for jarvis: there

BUT ! I YOU DON’T have this picture WITHOUT MMM-GABackground

IT’S MEANS MMM-GoogleAssistant is not correctly CONFIGURED with MMM-pages !
Because YOU MUST have the background …

And if you don’t have this background … YOU CAN’T USE MMM-GABackground !

Correct your MMM-GoogleAssistant ISSUE FIRST !
                        it’s the default background of MMM-GoogleAssistant !!!
You can’t change a background to an hidden module

Actually only MMM-GoogleAssistant popups is displayed (and no modules can prohibits it to display … because it’s a popup and don’t use config.js position of the module)
so, The module is not displayed … the module is: THE BACKGROUND !
