I tried to set up this module for a while and just keep running from one problem to another. I managed to get the authority token and everything properly installed butwhen i go to run the mirror this message comes up:
      /home/pi/MagicMirror/node_modules/electron/dist/electron js/electron.js: symbol lookup error: /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-awesome-alexa/node_modules/snowboy/lib/node/binding/Release/electron-v11.3-linux-ia32/snowboy.node: undefined symbol: ZN7snowboy13SnowboyDetectC1ERKSsS2

I am following this guide to install it: https://www.howtogeek.com/423233/how-to-add-alexa-to-your-smart-mirror/ and i already tried reinstalling snowboy multiple times which didnt fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated```

@pipifatz which alexa… Only one I know that works is AwesomeAlexa

they have a 14 step install process, I made a script out of it
        use this link to download
        https://www.dropbox.com/s/omrx3vztjp738hf/do-install.sh?dl=0

        make executable

does the entire process, git clone on …
ignore the errors… last step is the only important one

I didn’t write the the steps, I just made the script from the steps in

          @pipifatz

I just installed AlexaControl using an Echo Dot 4 with no problems.

Hope it can work the same for you.

          Cheers

@sdetweil I’m trying to install AwesomeAlexa but the

                  npm install --only=prod

command is giving me an error about ‘snowboy’ . It looks like there is not a file at https://snowboy-release-node.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/snowboy/v1.3.1/Release/snowboy-v1.3.1-node-v93-darwin-x64.tar.gz

Did you face a similar problem?
                  Thanks

@antoniop use my script which does the install steps from the wiki , plus a couple fixes
