    Hi everyone, I am relatively new to the MagicMirror and have a problem, maybe someone can help me.
    I have the MagicMirror running. It runs out of the box as it should. However, I can no longer play music. I play music from my iPhone via Shairport Sync (https://github.com/mikebrady/shairport-sync). Without MM, the whole thing runs perfectly, but when I now install the MM on the RaspberryPi, I can no longer hear the music. Does anyone know what is going wrong in the background?

    I have a RaspberryPi 4 8GB and the sound is transmitted via HDMI.

      @chrism hm… shouldn’t be a problem… MM is a browser, and it typically shares the audio ports…

      I can play wav and mp3, and postify separately while MM is running…

          @chrism what MM modules do you have installed? I am using the defaults in this test…

          i have a wav file recorded from my mic, and I use it to test playback (My monitors have a quirk and turn off the speakers quite often)…

            Hi, just for information

            since now ~ one year Raspbian use pulseaudio, so it will select Automaticaly mic source and output source

            so stop using alsa configuration and use pulseaudio :)

            alsa = only one audio process at same time
            pulse audio = muti audio process at same time

            Note: now in my modules no mic config / audio output is require, pulse audio do job
