@ michelw you used sudo on some command, in error ( do not use sudo for any mm related thing) to get out of that cd ~ sudo chown -R michel MagicMirror also, use my script, it does everything see https://github.com/sdetweil/MagicMirror_scripts u have to delete or rename the existing folder to use my script as it assumes start from scratch
