      Hi together,
some tiome ago i found the project and wanted my own MM.
So a few weeks ago i decided, that it is about time so start.

I took one of my Pi0w and startet testing…with more or less sucess.
Luckily they announced the Pi02w and i was able to get one on my hand as quick as i could.

I looked in my cellar and found an old LG 21.5inch LCD Monitor. Disassembled it to use the LCD Panel as my “dashboard”.
So here are the things i bought and the things i already had:

      Bought:
      PDU
      DC-DC 12V to 5V
      LCD Controller
      Pi Zero 2
      Short HDMI Cable

      Had:
      LG Display 21.5"
MicroSD Card with 32GB Class 10

I experimented a bit with my Pi and found out, that the momory consumption and the cpu usage depends highly on the distribution you use.

So i powered up my MM with DietPi and i have to say that this is was the best decission.
Not only that the absolut nessesary services are running, the whole thing is perfect to use with MM. I’m more than happy with this OS. Stock is fine but this little thing is a game changer…

So now, these are the Modules i am using currently:
      MMM-BurnIn (20s/5s)
      Updatenotification
      Clock
      Calendar_Monthly
      3x Calendar
      compliments
      compliments_plus
      MMM-BringList
      2x Weather (Today and Forecast)
      MMM-DWD-WarnWeather
      MMM-WiFiPassword
      MMM-MysqlQuery
      newsfeed

      This is how it looks:

And here is a picture from the back:

The fittings of the components are not final but they work for testing :)
What you could barely see on the picture is, that i soldered the 12V/5V Adapter to the power input on the controller board. So i have to use only one PDU.

Here are some screenshots from DietPi Console:

      And I’m using a script to turn on/off the monitor at 06 / 23 o’clock.

      So, thats it.
Whats next planned is to make a frame by myself. But for this i have to save up some Money because my Ford S-MAX broke as you saw on the Screenshot :P

Feel free to get in touch with me if there are things you are interested in :)

      Greetings
      Daniel

Schaut super aus, Grüsse aus Flensburg

Real programmers never work 9 to 5. If they are around at 9 AM, it's because they were up all night.

Schaut super aus und schön aufgeräumt. Ich hätte 2 Fragen dazu:

          1. Welche Einstellungen hast du vorgenommen damit im Monatskalender die Zahl 16 grün angezeigt wird?
          2. Welche Einstellungen hast du vorgenommen damit der obere Kalender in Magenta Farbe angezeigt wird?
