@rikko14 how many amps of +5 is that power supply?

        I bought a few w 5-8 amps, and don’t see that message

note that USB attached devices come out of that power too. up to 1.2 amps (6watts)

I have an external disc and camera, and occasionally mouse and keyboard

the original power supply was 3A which I changed because I had the message, I replaced it with several 5V 2A and sometimes I find the message. I haven’t had the message since last night…

Does the PI 4 support turning USB power off and on in software at all? If it does, how to do it? Or is there a bug somewhere that has to be fixed to make it work? I use the newest Rapbian on both the Pi 3B+ and the Pi 4.

@mann “Does the PI 4 support turning USB power off and on in software at all? If it does, how to do it?” : I don’t understand what you are telling me, so what should I do?
