      Hi all,

Newbie here. Done lots reading though!

I’d like to know if the webcam can be used for anything else other than motion detection please. E.g. can I have a simultaneous rtsp video stream?

https://github.com/sdetweil/MMM-SleepWake would be my main purpose for the webcam in my mirror of course.

      Many thanks!

@sforza far as I know, there is no sharing of the camera across applications. so yes, using motion blocks use of cam for anything else

@sforza motion library can output a video stream too. (default it’s on port 8081, 8082 or 8083 as I recall. I disable that function on my systems

and can do it when motion starts and stop when motion stops

          see the doc
