I have a MM set up that I am accessing via SSH. I want to use the module MMM-StopwatchTimer, which says it can be controlled via notifications, such as “START_STOPWATCH”.

I tried reading through the documentation on the wiki, but I don’t understand how/where/what to type to get that notification into that module? Is it possible via SSH? Do I need to be in the root folder, or the MagicMirror folder, or does it matter? When it says “this.sendNotification” do I type that exactly, or do I replace “this” with the name of the module?

      Help!! Thanks in advance!

@StormyWaters2021 notifications only cone from another module.

but you are in luck. one of our members just created a tool to send them from a command line tool… see
