      Do you think its possible to install a touch sensor to turn on the mirror?

          • What you mean is “powering on a Raspberry PI by touch without any additional device”, NO.
          • What you mean is “powering on a Display(previously powered off) by touch without any additional device”, Possible or not by the kind of the touch-sensor. Built-In touch sensor in a display would not be possible, but an external touch-frame connected to Raspberry Pi could be used to give signals for that control to Raspberry Pi.
          • What you mean is “Waking on a Display(previously slept/hibernated) by touch without any additional device”, YES. But your display('s control board) should support that kind of feature.
