      Re: MMM-DynamicWeather

      I love this module, but its a bit laggy on my Pi 3B. Cant figure out how to figure out how to optimize. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

      Thanks!

        wait, so you’re saying a flash drive would work faster than the sd card in the pi?

          @greedyvegan absolutely…

          i have a slow sd card reader on one system, I boot from sd, but run from ssd stick… (no boot from USB on this system)
          SO much better performance

              • update, that didn’t work for me…
                it’s stuck at the “welcome to raspberry pi” image
                I’ll give it some time to see what happens, because the previous one said 2023 and this one says March 2024

                update, it works; but it’s not faster… yet?
                also, when I rotate the screen clockwise 90° or portrait, the cursor/mouse is stuck in landscape.

                my searches tell me /boot/config.txt but that doesn’t work anymore because its boot/firmware/config.txt
                I added rotate 1
                that didn’t work either, I’m still looking
