@davismorehead
lets start at the beginning… how did you install, and how did you upgrade?manual or with my scripts?
tell me output of
node -v npm -v lsb_release -a uname -a
do you use pm2 to autostart?
if so do
pm2 stop all cd ~/MagicMirror npm start
-
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ node -v
v19.3.0
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ npm -v
9.2.0
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Raspbian
Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

Codename: buster
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ uname -a
Linux raspberrypi 5.10.103-v7+ #1529 SMP Tue Mar 8 12:21:37 GMT 2022 armv7l GNU/Linux
pi@raspberrypi:~ $I updated manually. Later I tried to run your script but I am running remotely so can’t do your script. would need to hook up keyboard to pi.
am using pm2. Saw a different post where you did the npm start, so did that already. Same error
-
@davismorehead I need the actual messages from npm start.
if you can ssh or VNC or RDP into your machine you can run my scripts, it’s a cut and paste of the comnands
-
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ pm2 stop all

Some of my replies take a long time to be approved. Is there a secret to get them approved faster.
-
@davismorehead if you have already installed, then you don’t run install again…
so, are you running headless? (no screen?)so you would not do npm start, you would do npm run server
