MMM-WIDGET2 calendar economic
-
 Hello developers.
I am trying out the MMM-WIDGET2 module, but I cannot insert a finance calendar. this is the site.- https://tradingeconomics.com ‘ calendar
it turns out you need to use an API but i don’t know how to do it.
can anyone do this? available for 32-64bit system with bulleye and bookworm OS (pi4 and pi5).
i am also looking at these calendars:
- https://investire.biz/calendario-economico

- https://tradingeconomics.com ‘ calendar
-
@monark that module will only display local data hard coded
 or file
 or html file
and put it in an iframeit will not fetch from web
-
@maybe one of iframe modules would be better see the link in the menu for the 3rd party
 list
-
 @monark
Unfortunately, those calendars are notwidgetso you cannot insert them into your website or MagicMirror.
And those are not providingicsorjsonformat directly so you cannot use calendar module also.
A dedicated module to access the data with their own API should be needed.

@MMRIZE I see. too bad because that would have been a good thing, but I guess the developers are busy to create a module for that.
But it would be damn cool to have it

@monark there are no developers. this is an open source project.
those who want it, create it, or collaborate with others that also want it.this forum is about installation and use of the base MagicMirror platform.
and HOW to develop modules that work therein.we take submissions (pull requests) for fixes and enhancements to the base. there are 3 or 4 of us that process this work for next release
 I also support the forum.
all of it is as time available from our normal lives.we supply a sample set of modules for the core content - date/time - clock
- calendar
- weather
- a module to post pop up alert messages - alert
- a module to indicate whether updates are available for the base - updatenotifications
- a newsfeed module - newsfeed
- a module that will display random sayings - compliments
all other modules are owned and maintained (or not) by their individual authors.
